RS PRO PT100 RTD Sensor PT100 model is a high quality, robust temperature sensing probe with a 4.5 mm diameter and 150 mm length stainless steel sheath designed for industrial temperature monitoring up to 250°C. It features a 4 wire connection configuration and Class B accuracy (IEC 60751 standard), ensuring precise and stable temperature measurement within the range of -50°C to 250°C. The probe element is encased in rigid 316 stainless steel protecting it from mechanical damage and corrosive environments.

This sensor includes a 2-meter long screened cable with Teflon insulation providing excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and high temperatures, as well as shielding against electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for demanding electrical and automation applications.

PT100 sensors operate on the principle that the electrical resistance of platinum changes predictably with temperature, making them ideal for precise temperature control in industrial, laboratory, HVAC, food processing, plastics, and chemical industries.
