Product Description
RS PRO 110-4475 compression fitting is constructed from high-quality 303 stainless steel, providing durability and corrosion resistance for industrial applications. It is specifically designed to secure thermocouple or PRT (Platinum Resistance Thermometer) probes, allowing precise positioning within process fittings such as flange plates, thermowells, and bulkheads.
This compression fitting incorporates a BSPT tapered male thread to ensure a tight, leak-proof connection. The design includes an outer compression nut and an inner compression ring or ferrule (commonly referred to as an olive). When the nut is tightened, the ferrule compresses around the probe sheath, firmly holding the probe and maintaining the correct immersion depth for accurate temperature measurement.
Its quick adjustment capability facilitates fine tuning of sensor immersion length for optimal measurement accuracy. This product is fully RoHS compliant, meeting environmental regulations for hazardous substances.
