RS PRO 239-4609 Type K Mineral Insulated Thermocouple features a 150 mm long, 1.5 mm diameter probe crafted from durable 310 stainless steel, designed to withstand high temperatures ranging from 750 °C to 1100 °C. The mineral insulated sheath is filled with compacted magnesium oxide powder which ensures fast heat transfer while electrically insulating the inner conductors. This construction enhances mechanical strength and flexibility, allowing the probe to be bent as needed without damage.

The thermocouple includes a 1 meter long PFA insulated flat pair cable with unterminated tails for easy integration into existing systems. The insulated (ungrounded) junction protects against spurious electrical signals, enhancing measurement stability.
