RS PRO 508-015 Polyester Enclosure is a high-quality, two-part modular enclosure providing excellent protection for electrical and electronic components. With exact dimensions of 130 mm (height) x 150 mm (length) x 185 mm (width), this enclosure is constructed from corrosion-resistant polyester, suitable for harsh industrial conditions.

It features an IP67 rating according to EN 60529, which guarantees waterproof protection capable of withstanding immersion up to 1 meter. The robust design also includes an IK10 rating in accordance with EN 62262, offering resistance against mechanical impacts equivalent to 20 joules.

The enclosure maintains integrity over a broad temperature range, with a continuous operational range of -40°C to 80°C and the capacity to tolerate short-term extremes from -50°C to 160°C when covered. Its grey base and lid (RAL 7036) are equipped with a PUR gasket to ensure effective sealing, and polyamide screws enhance durability.

Additional technical features include glow wire testing at 960°C, compliance with UL 746C 5V flammability standards, halogen-free materials, and resistance to UV exposure and chemicals. This makes the enclosure ideal for industrial applications such as remote control systems, radio instrumentation, keypads, display boards, and entry system controls, especially in challenging environments like oil refineries and steel manufacturing plants.

The enclosure is supplied with a base fitted with black screws for mounting plates or DIN-rail attachments, a cover with an integrated PUR gasket, and polyamide cover screws, ensuring a secure and reliable assembly out of the box.

Manufactured from durable polyester material with a grey RAL 7036 base and lid color. Provides IP67 ingress protection for water and dust, suitable for outdoor applications. Certified IK10 impact resistance offers protection against mechanical shocks up to 20 joules.
