Product Description

Multimedia Connect Cat7 Ethernet Cable model Cat7 is a 250-meter-long shielded and screened network cable featuring a low smoke zero halogen purple jacket. This cable is specifically engineered for high-speed VDI (Voice - Data - Image) networks and is ideal for industrial, commercial, and large-scale IT infrastructure applications that demand excellent electromagnetic compatibility immunity and high transmission frequencies up to 600 MHz.

The cable construction includes four cores of solid copper conductors with 23 AWG strand size, arranged as shielded twisted pairs with an overall shield braid. The low smoke zero halogen jacket material ensures safety by minimizing toxic fumes and flame spread during fire incidents, conforming to Euroclass Cca-s1 d1 a1 standards. Its operating temperature range from -20°C to 70°C makes it suitable for diverse environmental conditions.

This unterminated cable allows for flexibility in custom connector termination for tailored network setups. It supports both horizontal and vertical cable installations. Featuring a 7.6 mm outside diameter and a cross-sectional conductor area of 0.259 mm², it provides robust mechanical and electrical characteristics.

Cable length of 250 meters supports extended network layouts. Shielded and screened design reduces electromagnetic interference for reliable signal integrity. Solid copper conductors ensure high conductivity and durability.

Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket reduces toxic gases and flame spread for enhanced safety. Complies with IEC 61156-1 and EN 50288 standards for quality and performance assurance.

Designed for demanding networking environments, this cable supports VDI applications requiring high bandwidth and EMC immunity, including industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, and commercial installations. Its purple color coding aids easy identification in cable management systems.
