KEMET PME271 Paper Capacitor Y2 model PME271 is a self-healing multilayer metallised paper class Y suppression capacitor designed for through hole mounting. It is rated for 250V AC and 250V DC, operating reliably up to 100°C.

Constructed using epoxy impregnated metallised paper and encased in epoxy resin, this capacitor provides active and passive flame retardant properties combined with excellent stability and reliability, even under continuous operation. The capacitor is optimized for electromagnetic interference suppression in Y2 applications, typically used as line-to-earth filters.

The 47nF capacitance with ±20% tolerance and lead pitch of 20.3mm suits standard through hole PCBs.
