Product Description

Hammond 1457L1201 is a robust aluminium enclosure from the 1457 series featuring a silver extruded aluminium body and black lid with IP65 protection rating. The enclosure measures 34.9 mm in external height, 131.15 mm in external length, and 107 mm in external width.

Constructed with a minimum 1.5 mm thickness extruded aluminium body and two diecast aluminium end panels, it is designed for reliable equipment interfacing or housing printed circuit boards (PCBs). The horizontal PCB mounting is facilitated through internal slots in the extruded body, suitable for standard Eurocards.

The black satin powder paint on the end panels offers enhanced corrosion resistance and a professional look. The enclosure is unshielded and not certified for hazardous areas but includes a polyethylene foam gasket for effective sealing to maintain IP65 ingress protection.

Weighing just 103 grams, this lightweight but sturdy enclosure is ideal for industrial automation, electronics, and electrical assemblies where environmental protection and structural integrity are necessary.
