Deltron 480-C140 die cast aluminium enclosure is a flanged, silver lid enclosure designed for general purpose applications requiring high levels of environmental protection. It features an IP66, IP67, and IP68 rating compliant with IEC standard 60529 and BS EN 60529:1992, making it suitable for use in harsh environments including industrial, marine, food processing, transportation, and leisure industries.
The enclosure body is made from robust die cast aluminium, offering excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Its dimensions are 26 mm in height, 80 mm in length, and 55 mm in width, designed to accommodate electronic components securely.
The enclosure lid is silver coloured and is tightly sealed using a hard neoprene rubber gasket with silicone material, ensuring superior watertight protection. The lid includes seal location lugs for precise fitment, and it is secured by M3.5 x 12 stainless steel screws providing durability and reliable closure under demanding conditions.
Internal mounting is facilitated via PCB mounting guides available on selected models. This enclosure also features electromagnetic shielding (EMC) in the shielded version with a carbon loaded silicone seal.
