RS PRO 309-4042 is a high-quality right-angle Backplane Connector Contact designed for DIN41612 type M male connectors. It features a gold-plated copper alloy contact that provides excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, ensuring stable and efficient electrical connections.
The right-angle design makes the contact especially suitable for 90° adaptors, allowing connections for plug-in cards to backplane wiring or linking parallel printed circuit boards (PCBs). The through-hole termination supports soldering or crimping to coaxial cables such as RG178B/U and RG174A/U types.
Operating across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and supporting a current up to 40 amperes, this backplane connector is engineered to perform reliably in demanding industrial environments including data communications, telecommunications, measurement, and control systems.
