RS PRO 185-3524 Black Glass Reinforced Plastic Sheet is a high-quality solid plastic sheet made of polyamide 66 reinforced with 30% glass fibre, also known as Nylon 66 GF30. The sheet measures 305 mm in length, 250 mm in width, and 40 mm in thickness, offering excellent strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. Its black coloration enhances UV and weather resistance, making it suitable for outdoor and demanding industrial environments.

This glass fibre reinforced nylon sheet exhibits a high hardness rating of M 90 Rockwell and an impact strength of 70 kJ/m², ensuring durability and resistance to mechanical stresses. It has a maximum operating temperature of 100°C and a UL94 HB flammability rating. The material's density is 1.35 g/cm³, with a water absorption rate of 5.5% and thermal conductivity of 0.27 W/mK.

Nylon 66 GF30 is preferred in applications requiring high static load capacity and creep strength over long periods at elevated temperatures. It is weldable and bondable, with good resistance to many oils, greases, and fuels, as well as excellent wear properties.
