Product Description

Bourns MF-R400 4 A Resettable Fuse rated at 30V is a radial leaded protection device designed to safeguard electrical and electronic circuits against excessive currents. The MF-R series provides rapid switching from a low resistance state to a very high resistance when subjected to electrical overload or short circuit conditions. It automatically resets thousands of times without the need for maintenance or fuseholders, thanks to its cured flame retardant epoxy polymer which complies with UL 94V-0 safety standards.

With a hold current of 4 A and a trip current of 8 A, the fuse activates in approximately 12.7 seconds under overload conditions. It features a low minimum resistance of 0.01 Ω and a maximum resistance of 50 mΩ, ensuring minimal impact on circuit performance. The power dissipation capacity is rated at 2.5 W.

The fuse dimensions are compact, measuring 14.4 mm in length, 24.8 mm in height, and 3 mm in width. The leads have a diameter of 0.81 mm and are radially oriented, facilitating easy printed circuit board installation. It can operate effectively within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
