This solar power plant uses two different types of energy to produce electricity. The first type is sunlight which is converted into heat using photovoltaic cells. This heat then drives a steam turbine which generates electricity. The second type of energy used is wind turbines which generate electricity when they are spinning. This hybrid system allows us to harness both sources of renewable energy and create a more efficient way of generating electricity.
