Ionex Dual Media Filter IDMF-12, Ionex DMF is similar to pressure sand filter one additional media Anthracite for better filtration results.Since Anthracite contains 60% carbon and has lower silica content DMF is more suitablefor pre-treatment of Boiler feed water.Operations:Various types of filter beds are available depending on operating requirements. As water passes downward through from the filter bed & suspended matter is trapped &accumulated on the beds. These foreign matter leads to head loss and it is an indication for need of backwash thisis accomplished by an upward flow of water and finally, the filter bed is down rinsed
