This pneumatic type bursting strength tester can be used to test the bursting strength of various materials such as rubber, plastic, paper, etc. The device consists of two chambers separated by a diaphragm which is connected to a pressurized air source. When the pressure inside the chamber exceeds the breaking point of the diaphragm, it will burst open. This allows the user to measure the maximum force required to break the diaphragm.
