Carbon dioxide incubators are used to grow plants in an environment free from oxygen. This allows the plant to develop more quickly without having to compete with oxygen for nutrients. The carbon dioxide gas is supplied through a tube which runs into the base of the pot.  dioxide incubators are used to grow plants indoors without sunlight.
