Air Pollution Control Scrubbers The scrubber is the most important device to control gaseous/smock pollutants from the stack (i.e. unborn carbon, sulfur, nitrogen, halogen components, etc). The principal mechanism is impacting of dust/fumes particles on the water (Liquid) droplets created by the nozzles. It is also suitable to collect hot, heavy & fine dust which is not soluble in water.
