Time Electronics 1090 Thermocouple Temperature Calibrator is a high performance portable instrument designed for precise source and measure functions suitable for thermocouples, Pt100, mV, and mA signals. It supports and simulates 8 types of thermocouples: J, K, T, R, S, B, N, and E, displaying results in selectable units of Celsius or Fahrenheit.

This calibrator features a large backlit super-twist LCD with 7.5 mm digits for clear readability even in low light conditions. It is equipped with a NiMH rechargeable battery offering up to 60 hours of continuous usage, combined with an auto power-save feature to extend battery life.

The device includes a sealed membrane keypad for reliable operation in industrial environments and has both automatic and manual cold junction compensations for enhanced measurement accuracy. Its sturdy carrying case includes a compartment for test leads, making it convenient for fieldwork.

The 1090 model also features automatic step functions with configurable step times and a process loop drive mode at 24V. Pt100 simulation includes 14 preset values to within ±0.1% of DIN43760, ranging from -100°C to 800°C, while Pt100 measurement accuracy is ±0.5% between 20Ω (-200°C) and 350Ω (700°C).
