HI97739 HR Fluoride Portable Photometer is a meter designed for precise fluoride measurement in water, featuring advanced optics and robust construction.
Hanna HI97739 High Range Fluoride Portable Photometer (Meter Only) is a high-precision analytical instrument designed for fast and reliable measurement of fluoride concentrations in water samples. With a measurement range of 0.0 to 20.0 mg/L (as F⁻), this photometer is ideal for laboratory, industrial, and environmental water quality testing applications.
Engineered with an advanced optical system, the HI97739 incorporates a reference detector and narrow band interference filters, ensuring highly accurate, stable, and repeatable results. The device uses an LED light source with a 575 nm bandpass filter, following an adaptation of the Standard Methods SPADNS method, providing standardized and dependable fluoride analysis.
The instrument features a large 128 × 64 pixel backlit LCD for clear readability in all lighting conditions, along with a built-in tutorial mode that guides users step-by-step through measurement procedures. The CAL Check™ function enables quick verification of instrument performance, ensuring measurement reliability before testing.
Designed for efficiency and portability, the photometer includes automatic shut-off to conserve battery life and can store up to 50 readings, supporting traceability and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliance. It operates using three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, delivering up to 800 measurements per set.
With a rugged, durable housing, the HI97739 is built for use in demanding environments, including field monitoring and industrial settings. It operates effectively within a temperature range of 0 to 50°C and up to 100% relative humidity. The device uses standard 24.6 mm round cuvettes for testing, ensuring compatibility with common laboratory accessories.
Widely used in water treatment plants, environmental monitoring programs, laboratories, and industrial process control, the HI97739 provides accurate fluoride measurement for compliance and quality assurance.
