The HI1413S/50 Flat Tip pH Electrode is an advanced sensor designed for reliable surface pH measurements, particularly suitable for skin, leather, agar plates, and other materials. With a robust glass body and a flat tip, this electrode facilitates accurate, repeatable readings on flat surfaces that are otherwise challenging for conventional pH probes. It incorporates an open junction design, utilizing a viscolene (hard gel) electrolyte that is free from silver chloride, significantly reducing clogging and minimizing contamination.
The single reference junction with Ag/AgCl supports consistent performance in both laboratory and field environments. The screw cap connector ensures a stable, secure attachment to your pH meter, while the 0.5 m coaxial cable provides flexibility during handling. The electrode is made with low temperature (LT) glass for reliable operation from 0 to 50°C, maintaining accuracy across a wide range of sample temperatures. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 0.1 bar and features 12 mm outer diameter construction.
