The electrode body is constructed from PEI (polyetherimide), offering excellent resistance to chemicals, corrosion, and mechanical stress. The general purpose pH glass allows efficient operation across a temperature range of -5 to 70°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. The cloth junction design helps prevent clogging and supports continuous use in samples containing high solids or particulates.

It features an internal amplifier for stable signal output, along with an internal battery that ensures consistent performance during operation.
