The Fluke 179 is a True-RMS digital multimeter designed for electrical and electronic installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. It measures AC and DC voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency, continuity and temperature.
Its built-in thermometer and included 80BK temperature probe allow technicians to perform electrical and temperature measurements using one instrument. The backlit 6000-count display, MIN/MAX/AVG recording and AutoHold functions make it suitable for industrial maintenance, field service and bench repair.
With CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V safety ratings, the Fluke 179 is designed for professional testing in demanding electrical environments.
