Product Description
This gas chromatograph machine is used for the analysis of organic compounds. The GC system consists of an oven, injector, detector and data acquisition computer. The sample is injected into the column where it is separated based on its affinity for different solvents. The solvent elutes through the column and is detected by the detector. The output from the detector is sent to the computer which records the retention time of each peak and calculates the concentration of the compound.
