Product Description

RS PRO 226-3889 is a nitrile rubber (NBR) rotary shaft seal designed for industrial use with a 70 mm inside diameter, 85 mm outside diameter, and 8 mm thickness. This seal is manufactured from nitrile rubber, the most cost-effective and commonly available seal material. It is widely applied in mechanical settings such as driveshafts, crankshafts, and hydraulic cylinders where rotating shafts require lubrication with oil or grease.

The NBR material is specifically resistant to lubrication oils, hydraulic fluids, and grease, making it suitable for dynamic sealing applications in fluid power and mechanical machinery sectors. However, it is not recommended for brake oil, phosphoric ester, or ester-based fluids.
