Product Description
Bourns MF-R300 3 A Resettable Fuse is a radial leaded device rated for 30V and 3A hold current, designed to protect electrical and electronic circuits from overcurrent conditions. This resettable fuse automatically switches from a low resistance state to a high resistance state within 10.8 seconds when exposed to an overload or short circuit, enabling protection against electrical faults.
Constructed with cured flame retardant epoxy polymer material, it meets UL 94V-0 requirements ensuring high safety standards. The compact size of 12mm length, 18.3mm height, and 3mm width allows for space-efficient PCB applications.
This fuse is maintenance-free and capable of resetting itself thousands of times, eliminating the need for fuseholders or replacements. The device is UL and RoHS compliant and includes a lead diameter of 0.81mm with radial lead orientation to facilitate easy installation in PCB designs.
Commonly used in security systems, power supplies and transformers, automotive and medical equipment, instrumentation, computers, and audiovisual telecommunications, this fuse offers reliable and rapid protection with a trip current of 6A and a hold current of 3A.
