RS PRO 245-9612 Metric O-Ring Splicing Kit Viton is a comprehensive, portable toolset designed for efficient on-site fabrication of static O-rings required in sealing applications. Utilizing high-quality Viton (FKM) material with a Shore hardness of 75, this kit provides corrosion and temperature resistance up to 500°C.

The kit includes a minimum 1.2-meter length of Viton O-ring cord in five different diameters: 1.6 mm, 2.4 mm, 3.0 mm, 5.7 mm, and 8.4 mm. These metric sizes cover a wide range of application needs, supporting maintenance and prototype scenarios where custom-sized O-rings are necessary.

Precision cutting and splicing are enabled by the included cyanoacrylate adhesive, cutting and splicing jig, and disposable knife. After cutting and trimming the cord to the desired length with squared ends, the adhesive bonds the O-ring ends securely within 30 seconds, allowing for immediate use in light mechanical duties.
