RS PRO 226-3794 is a Nitrile Rubber (NBR) Rotary Shaft Seal, measuring 35 mm inside diameter, 47 mm outside diameter, and 7 mm thickness. It is engineered for sealing rotating shafts and is widely used in driveshafts, crankshafts, and hydraulic cylinders where lubrication oils or grease are present.

Nitrile Rubber (NBR) provides cost-effective and durable resistance to oils, hydraulic fluids, and grease commonly encountered in industrial applications. The seal operates effectively within a temperature range of -20°C to 90°C, making it suitable for diverse environments.

This seal is manufactured with a hardness of 70 ±5 shore A, offering good mechanical strength and sealing reliability. Its tensile strength of 18.9 MPa and elongation capacity of 438% ensure resilience under mechanical stress. The specific gravity is approximately 1.25 g/cm³, with tear resistance rated at 58 N/mm, confirming its robustness.

Note that this Nitrile Rubber seal is not suitable for use with brake oil or fluids based on phosphoric ester or ester bases, which could degrade the material.
