RS PRO 222-8257 Bi-Metallic Thermostat is a precision temperature control switch designed for industrial and commercial electrical applications. This device operates by using a temperature-sensitive bi-metallic disc which actuates the switch contacts automatically as temperatures reach the snap point.
The thermostat closes at 85°C and can handle a maximum operating temperature of 150°C, making it suitable for applications with demanding thermal requirements. It supports both AC and DC voltages up to 250 V and is rated for a contact current of 16 A.
