RS PRO 408-3740 Black High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) PE Rod measuring 1 meter in length and 40 mm in diameter combines toughness with excellent chemical resistance. This rod is designed for mechanical, electrical, and general engineering applications, transport and conveyor technologies, household appliances, food and clean industries.
The HDPE material features very low water absorption (0.02%) and excellent sliding properties making it suitable for use in environments exposed to moisture or light wear. Its tensile strength of 25 MPa and elongation capacity of 50% assure durability and flexibility under various mechanical loads.
