RS PRO 438-6459 Transparent Polycarbonate PC Rod is a high toughness, virtually unbreakable thermoplastic rod measuring 1 meter in length and 50 mm in diameter. Manufactured from engineering-grade polycarbonate, it provides outstanding mechanical properties including a tensile strength of 60 MPa and hardness of 100 Ball Indentation. The rod offers a flammability rating of UL94 HB along with excellent thermal resistance with a maximum operating temperature of 140°C.

This transparent polycarbonate rod has a density of 1.2 g/cm³ and features low water absorption of just 0.36%, making it highly suitable for environments requiring moisture resistance. Its elongation of 100% ensures it can withstand considerable mechanical stress without failure.
