Product Description
Ultra-Mini Inductive Proximity Sensor This ultra-mini inductive proximity sensor has been designed to work with any standard Arduino board. This sensor can detect objects that are close to your device (up to 10cm). It uses an internal coil antenna and a magnet to detect the object's magnetic field. When the object comes closer than 5mm, the sensor sends out a signal through the internal coil antenna. The distance between the sensor and the object is then calculated based on the time taken for the signal to travel from the sensor to the object.
