Product Description
STEGO 11870.0-00 fan filter, part of the Filter Fan Plus FPI Series, is engineered for efficient climate control in enclosures housing electronic or electrical components. This fan filter uses a synthetic fibre filter medium combined with a plastic frame, designed to fit standard 92 x 92 mm fan sizes with a thickness of 51 mm. Its primary function is to allow cooler, filtered air to enter the enclosure, thereby reducing internal heat buildup and enhancing the longevity and performance of sensitive components.
The FPI series incorporates advanced air-flap outlet technology that facilitates a higher volume of airflow, effectively expelling heated air. Unlike FPO systems which use a fan on the outlet side, the FPI system places the filtered fan at the lower part of the enclosure to pull in cool air, which travels upward before heat is expelled through the outlet flap at the top.
Mounting is simplified by the ratchet type system front section securing to the rear section, accommodating various panel thicknesses and allowing rapid installation or removal. The filter mat is included, ensuring immediate usability upon installation.
