Sauter HMM Digital Hardness Tester is a high-precision instrument designed for measuring the hardness of metals and alloys using the Leeb rebound principle. With a compact length of 150 mm and weighing only 340 grams, this tester features an impact-resistant body and a tungsten carbide test tip propelled by spring force against the test surface.
This advanced digital hardness tester measures hardness by detecting speed reduction of the internal bounce module upon impact with the test material. The device processes these signals and displays hardness values according to Leeb scale 'L'. It also converts measurements into multiple international hardness scales including Rockwell (B & C), Vickers (HV), Brinell (HB), Shore (HSD), and tensile strength in MPa.
The tester includes an external Type D impact sensor and comes with a wireless IR printer for direct printouts of results, enhancing portability and convenience in various industrial and laboratory environments.
Key features include an auto-off function, automatic compensation for multi-directional measuring, a battery charge indicator, and an internal memory capable of storing nine data groups with multiple entries each. Its large backlit digital display ensures easy reading under all lighting conditions.
The Sauter HMM meets DIN and ASTM standards, making it highly suitable for industrial quality control, manufacturing processes, material testing, and research laboratories. The unit operates reliably in temperature ranges from 0°C to 50°C.
Impact-resistant body with tungsten carbide test tip for durable use. Measures hardness using Leeb rebound principle for accurate results. Supports multiple hardness scales including Rockwell, Vickers, Brinell, Shore, and tensile strength.
Equipped with digital display and backlight for easy reading in all lighting conditions. Includes wireless IR printer and impact sensor for enhanced portability and data handling. Automatic compensation for measurement in any direction (360°) ensures ease of use.
