Product Description

KTR BOWEXM65-SLEEVE-PB is a flexible coupler part of the BoWex series, featuring a 132 mm outer diameter and 68 mm length polyamide sleeve. This curved-tooth gear coupling sleeve facilitates positive torque transmission with flexibility to compensate for axial, radial, and angular shaft misalignment while maintaining torsional rigidity. The polyamide material sleeve offers a maintenance-free operation with high thermal stability and excellent resistance to lubricants, fuels, hydraulic fluids, and solvents.

The BoWex® curved-tooth gear couplings are engineered to avoid edge pressure within the spline, which effectively reduces wear compared to metallic counterparts. The combination of nylon polyamide sleeves and steel hubs eliminates the need for lubrication and allows continuous operation without corrosion risks typical of metal-to-metal couplings during dry running.

This coupler is designed for applications requiring absorption of axial, angular, and radial misalignments and short shaft distances. It supports hydraulic pumps with taper and inch bores and withstands maximum operating temperatures up to 100° Celsius.

Typical industrial applications include use in food processing, printing and paper manufacturing, textile, sewage technology, chemical and pharmaceutical plants, offshore machinery, and other environments exposed to aggressive media such as water, air, and chemicals. The coupler can be mounted vertically or horizontally without the need for special assembly tools, enhancing installation flexibility and ease.

The product comprises three parts sold separately: two coupling hubs and one gear coupling sleeve. This polyamide sleeve coupling delivers reliable performance in demanding industrial environments, ensuring reduced maintenance costs and longer service life.
