Product Description
RS PRO 812-5132 is a brass threaded 2-way Ball Valve with BSP female connections designed for fluid control applications requiring reliable operation and corrosion resistance. Manufactured using hot forged dezincification-resistant brass, this valve is built to withstand exposure to water and other fluids without susceptibility to dezincification, comparable to bronze in corrosion resistance.
The valve features a full port DIN 3357 compliant design, ensuring maximum flow capacity with minimal pressure drop. It is operated by a Geomet® carbon steel handle coated with thick PVC for thermal and electrical protection. The handle clearly indicates the ball position and stops on the valve body to avoid stem stresses during operation.
Temperature handling ranges from -40°C to 170°C, making the valve suitable for various industrial environments. Maintenance is minimized due to the blowout-proof DZR brass stem and the use of two FPM O-rings that guarantee stem safety and a long-lasting seal.
