Siemens 3SK1211-1BW20 Safety I/O Modules are part of the SIRIUS 3SK1 expansion modules designed for the expansion of enabling circuits in safety relay systems. These modules help maintain the maximum Performance Level PL and SIL according to international safety standards ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061, and IEC 61508 when connected to the basic unit in a fail-safe manner.
The 3SK1211 model features four safety-related enabling circuits with normally open (NO) contacts and one positively driven normally closed (NC) feedback contact. The modules can be activated via the supply voltage terminals (A1/A2) or through 3ZY device connectors, with the operating state visually indicated on an LED display. The slide switch allows selection between time-delayed or instantaneous activation for 24 V DC variants.
