RS PRO 733-5274 Brass Threaded Full Port BSPP Ball Valve is engineered for demanding applications in gas, oil, water, and drinking water systems. It operates efficiently across a broad temperature range from -40°C to 170°C, making it suitable for both cold and hot environments.
Constructed with premium brass body and aluminium handle, this ball valve features a full port to DIN 3357 ensuring maximum fluid flow and minimal pressure loss. The valve utilizes BSPP threaded inlet and outlet connections, accommodating pipe dimensions from 1/4 to 4 inches.
The stem is blowout-proof and nickel plated with dual FPM O-rings for enhanced safety and leak prevention. Ball seats made of pure PTFE provide excellent self-lubrication and flexible-lip design guaranteeing a reliable seal. The chrome-plated brass ball is designed with a rinse hole to prevent water stagnation, mitigating bacterial growth risks including Legionella.
