Bartec OTB122 junction box is a premium black polyester enclosure reinforced with fibreglass and designed to be anti-static. This junction box is manufactured with high impact resistance polyester SMC & DMC materials ensuring extraordinary stability and corrosion resistance in demanding industrial environments.

Featuring a compact size of 122mm x 122mm x 82mm, the enclosure offers IP66 ingress protection against dust and water, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor electrical installations. The product meets strict standards including IEC 60529, EN 60529, BS EN 50019, BS EN 50281-1-1 and conforms to ATEX hazardous area certification requirements. It is BASEEFA certified for safe use in explosive atmospheres.

The construction includes flame retardant rating IEC 92.1 and UL94V0 ensuring enhanced fire safety. The junction box contains 5 AKZ4 terminals and an AKE earth terminal, mounted on a zinc-plated steel earth continuity plate, which offers secure electrical contacts between cable glands and the earth plate.

The enclosure operates effectively in a temperature range from -25°C to +40°C, with an extended ambient temperature range option of -55°C to +65°C. Captive lid screws combined with a silicon O-ring lid seal provide a secure and water-tight closure. The black antistatic material used helps prevent static charge build-up, enhancing safety in critical applications.
