Product Description

Delta-Mobrey VLSKB131Z Solids Level Switch is engineered for single-point level detection in free-flowing solids such as powders and grains. The device supports both vertical and horizontal mounting modes for flexible installation in silos or bins. Its aluminium alloy housing with powder coating provides robust protection against environmental factors.

The vibrating rod detects material level by resonant frequency changes when covered by solids, eliminating common problems like clogs or product bridging seen with tuning forks. The switch operates reliably from -20°C to 110°C with a maximum allowable pressure of 10 bar. Its electrical ratings include a maximum of 265V AC, 55V DC, and an 8A current rating, supporting various industrial power standards.

This model comes with a single SPDT alarm relay, an external LED status indicator for switch condition, and a 235mm cable length with Pg 16 cable glands for flexible wiring. The gasket uses a non-asbestos sheet to ensure safety and durability in sealing applications. The device is ATEX certified (II 1/2 DIP67) for use in hazardous areas, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments such as chemical plants, manufacturing, and material handling.
