The inner tube is made from 100% ester-based polyurethane without plasticisers, ensuring flexibility and durability. The flame retardant PVC outer casing increases toughness while meeting UL94V0 self-extinguishing requirements, which reduces the necessity for costly metallic braided pipes. This pipe maintains integrity under a maximum operating pressure of 40 bar and performs reliably within a temperature range of -15°C to 60°C.

It exhibits robust resistance to a wide range of chemicals and environmental hazards including petrol, solvents, acids, alkalis, oils, greases, fungi, and moulds, enhancing its suitability for pneumatic systems handling air, gases, some liquids, dry powders, and granules. Note that the flame retardant outer sheath must be stripped back to connect the pipe to pneumatic fittings securely.
