Butterfly Valve Standard Series With 125-140 Diameter(32617) is the standard in which steel valve pressure/temperature ratings are specified. It also offers additional valve specification data including non-destructive examination procedures for upgrading valves for special class service. Valves manufactured under B16.ASME standards are legally required when building infrastructure like bridges, power plant piping and boilers. Among ASME b16. 5 are widely used. ASTM is responsible for the development and re-enactment of standards for all types of old and new materials.
