Product Description
Check Valves Swing Series With 225 Diameter (08989) is mounted with a disc that swings on a hinge or shaft. The disc swings off the seat to allow forward flow and when the flow is stopped, the disc swings back onto the seat to block reverse flow. It helps prevent the improper flow of gas that could result in dangerous leaks or fires. These valves see broad usage in gas pipelines both in natural gas cleaning, distribution, and compression. Class II valves have no more than 0.5% leakage with 50 psi (340 kPa) (or less if operating pressure is less) of air pressure at the operating temperature.
