Product Description
Contactum 47-SB252015D galvanised steel wall box is a robust industrial enclosure measuring 250 mm height, 200 mm width, and 150 mm depth. Rated IP66, this enclosure protects electrical and automation components against dust ingress and powerful water jets, making it suitable for harsh environments in industrial, commercial, and utility applications.
The enclosure is constructed from galvanised steel with a powder-coated finish in RAL 7032 grey, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance and durability. A CNC machine-formed polyurethane gasket provides a reliable weatherproof seal, while the corner-formed door enhances water resistance and can be easily adjusted to open in the preferred direction by removing the hinges.
Security is ensured by the quarter-turn cylindrical metal lock with keys, which engages securely when the door is open. The enclosure includes a galvanised steel mounting plate and gland plate, facilitating straightforward installation and cable management. Earthing studs are provided on both the enclosure and door to ensure safety compliance.
Certified to IEC standards 62262 (IK rating), 60529 (IP rating), and 62208, this wall box carries an IK10 mechanical impact rating, confirming its resistance to mechanical shocks. The enclosure does not feature a transparent door and uses a surface internal mount type.
