The extension module comprises a receptacle/base made from black PBT (UL94V-0 rated material) ensuring flame resistance and long-term durability. The mounting nut is fabricated from high temperature thermoplastic, providing robust and stable mounting. The dome cover is molded from polycarbonate, offering excellent impact resistance and clarity.

This module contains four phosphor bronze contacts coated with a minimum 2.54μm tin layer over a nickel undercoat, ensuring corrosion resistance and consistent electrical performance for power, DALI, and digital input/output functions. The mounting gasket and O-ring are composed of silicone rubber, providing effective sealing against environmental contaminants.

The FLS-SB80-01 extension module is compatible with all Amphenol Book 18 bases and all certified Zhaga Book 18 extension modules with diameters of 40mm and 80mm. It forms a robust housing assembly for photocell/sensor modules used extensively in architectural, roadway, and commercial lighting systems.
