Product Description

RS PRO 190-1953 3D Printer Filament is a black CARBON-P composite filament with a diameter of 2.85 mm and weight of 1 kg, designed for use with common desktop 3D printers utilizing fused deposition modelling (FDM) technology. This filament is a PET-G based material reinforced with 20% carbon fiber, which doubles the stiffness compared to conventional PET-G filaments, delivering excellent mechanical properties and enhanced durability.

It features increased impact resistance and a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 80°C, making it highly suitable for demanding industrial and commercial applications. The matte finish contributes to a dimensionally stable print with minimal warping, maintaining a tolerance of ±0.10 mm and roundness of at least 95%, ensuring precision and consistency in printed parts.

Notable mechanical parameters include a tensile strength at yield of 52.5 MPa, tensile modulus of 3800 MPa, strain at break of 8%, and yield strain of 4.2%. Printing temperature recommendations peak at 235°C to optimize performance.
