Product Description

RS PRO 190-1969 3D Printer Filament is a high-quality, 1.75 mm diameter green filament made of Polylactic Acid (PLA) material, specifically designed for use with common desktop Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printers. Weighing 1 kg, this filament features a matte finish with sparkling flakes inside, producing a beautiful metallic effect while effectively concealing layer lines in the printed model.

The slightly modified PLA enhances toughness and reduces brittleness commonly encountered in standard PLA filaments, providing reliable mechanical performance. The green translucent color combined with sparkling flakes allows increased color saturation by adjusting wall thickness in printing.

This filament has a precise diameter tolerance of ±0.05 mm and a roundness of ≥95%, ensuring consistent extrusion and smooth prints. The printing material is capable of reaching a maximum temperature of 215°C, suitable for most desktop 3D printers without requiring special nozzles since it is non-abrasive.

Additional material properties include a specific gravity of 1.24 g/cc, tensile strength at yield of 70 MPa, strain at yield of 5%, and an elastic modulus of 3120 MPa. The filament offers low warping and limited unpleasant smell during printing, making it suitable for various applications ranging from prototyping to functional parts.
