Terasic P0082 Cyclone IV Deo-Nano Starter Kit is a communication and wireless development tool featuring a compact Cyclone IV DE0-Nano FPGA board. Designed for engineers and developers, it supports prototyping of circuit designs including robots and portable applications.
The Cyclone IV FPGA contains 22,320 logic elements, 594Kb embedded memory, 66 hardware multipliers, and 4 phase-locked loops, enabling flexible and complex digital designs. The board is equipped with 64 MB flash memory for configuration and 32 MB SDRAM for data storage.
This starter kit includes a 50 MHz clock oscillator, ADXL345 3-axis accelerometer for motion sensing, ADC128S022 8-channel 12-bit A/D converter capable of 50ksps to 200ksps sampling rates, 8 green LEDs for visual output, 2 debounced push buttons, and 4 DIP switches for manual input control.
Power can be supplied via the mini USB port (5 V), two GPIO header pins (5 V), or an external 2-pin header supporting +3.6 to +5.7 V. Two 40-pin headers provide a total of 72 digital I/O pins and a 26-pin header offers 16 digital I/O pins plus 8 analog inputs.
The board’s USB-Blaster circuit simplifies programming and debugging of the FPGA device. The DE0-Nano board’s compact size and lightweight design make it ideal for portable and embedded development projects.
This RoHS-compliant kit is supplied with a USB cable, system CD, Altera complete design suite free package, and a Quick Start Guide for rapid deployment. It is widely used in industrial, educational, communication, and embedded system development environments.
