ROLEC IP66 Die Cast Aluminium Enclosure model IP66 is a precision-engineered general purpose electrical enclosure designed with die cast aluminium body and grey RAL7032 coloured lid, measuring 100 mm in height, 266 mm in length, and 166 mm in width. The enclosure offers robust protection, meeting IP66 and IP67 ratings, making it dust tight and protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water.

Constructed with a baked enamel finish and overlapping tongue and groove design, this enclosure provides high-level RFI shielding to protect sensitive electronics from electromagnetic interference. A neoprene sealing gasket ensures environmental protection, with captive screws securing the lid firmly outside the gasket area to maintain seal integrity.

The internal feature includes threaded screw bosses enabling the mounting of various PCBs and earth tags, supplied with copper plated screws for corrosion resistance. The precast lid and base incorporate a tooth system to ensure continuous electrical contact for shielding effectiveness.
