Product Description

Megger 1005-021 Time Domain Reflectometer USB Interface is a precision instrument designed for fault location on paired metallic cables with a maximum pulse width of 2 ns, delivering an accuracy of ±1% and a resolution of 1%.

This advanced dual channel, dual trace TDR uses step and pulse selections and distance dependent gain along with trace tagging to provide detailed cable diagnostics. It supports various output impedances including 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 140 ohms with automatic impedance matching to adapt to different cable types.

The device features a backlit graphics color LCD with 800 by 480-pixel resolution for clear visual feedback, as well as an USB interface allowing seamless trace upload and download to a PC.

Designed for field durability, the TDR2050 is suitable for use on power circuits up to 600 V CAT IV and includes a power blocking filter for added operational safety.

It operates effectively in extreme conditions with a battery life of approximately 12 hours supported by a Lithium-ion rechargeable battery, and operational temperatures ranging from -15°C to 50°C.

The supplied package contains the TDR2050 unit, a download kit, fused test lead set, carry case, user guide CD, and AC-DC charger, facilitating comprehensive use in industrial, telecommunications, electrical testing, and network maintenance applications.
