Constructed with a sturdy U-shaped steel body, the case includes aluminium front and rear panels allowing easy modifications for integration of various components. The enclosure measures 310 mm in width, 221 mm in depth, and 44 mm in height, classified as 1U rack height.

This rack mount case provides integrated electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) protection via interlocking case walls, maintaining approximately 20 dB attenuation up to 2 GHz even when perforated side panels are installed. With IP30 rating on the solid side panel version, it safeguards electronics against ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm.

Assembly and disassembly are straightforward and require only two screws, enabling rapid installation or servicing.
