Unipower 130A 24V DC Motor Load Monitor with 50 °C Maximum and -15 °C Minimum Operating Temperature APM382

Unipower APM382 is a 130A motor load monitor designed for precise motor condition monitoring in industrial applications. Operating at 24V DC, it supports measurement of power in kilowatts on three-phased asymmetric loads, including those with frequency inverters. Its ability to handle PWM frequencies from 10Hz to 1kHz makes it suitable for use with modern motor drive systems.

The device incorporates 10 internal current measuring ranges capable of up to 80A to adapt to various load conditions. Programmable analogue and digital filters allow fine-tuning of measurement signals, enhancing the reliability of readings under fluctuating operational scenarios.

For safety and alarm functionalities, the APM382 offers two independent alarm limits plus a dP/dt alarm to detect shock loads, supporting timely interventions. Alarm inhibit inputs and an external reset input provide flexibility in alarm management.

Analog output options include 0(4)-20mA and 0(2)-10V signals with galvanic isolation from mains power, ensuring accurate and safe data transmission. The device also features optocoupled alarm outputs for robust signaling.

Setup and parameter configuration is facilitated via a PC with dedicated 382Mon software, allowing users to customize monitoring settings effectively. An optional external display, DCU D382, can be connected for local readout.

The compact dimensions of 102mm length, 86mm width, and 58mm depth enable easy installation in electrical panels complying with IP40 and IP20 protection standards, suitable for controlled industrial environments.
